Born and raised in the Hudson Valley, Shane is incredibly excited to be joing the Chisel team! As a member of the lgbtqia+ community, Shane recognizes the power behind a good cut and color. Having spent a large chunk of their adulthood searching for salons and barbershops that made them feel seen as a client, as a stylist they would like to pay it forward and serve their community. Everyone deserves to feel seen, heard and beautiful, regardless of what that means to the individual.

After graduating from TiGi Hairdressing Academy in Newtown, CT, Shane has focused on gender affirming haircare, alternative cuts and the entire spectrum of coloring. From lived-in to vivid colors, Shane is passionate about what color makes you, and is excited to be part of the soon-to-launch color program at The Chisel (stay tuned!). They are available for hair cut services and up-dos, immediately!

Outside The Chisel, Shane has a degree in Music. So you can find Shane singing in local Choir Illume as well as gigging around the city. They always find a spare moment to keep their creative energy flowing!
